How to get the best results from your reading+ Make sure to keep all correspondence to /party to protect the privacy of your tarot session.+ Interpreting the cards takes time. Please make sure you have 30-45 minutes available for your reading.+ Be attentive to the chat in the interest of time and so you do not miss any valuable information.+ Stay away from questions that require a yes or no answer (unless you are specifically doing the 1 Card Yes or No reading). When forming your question, make sure it is clear and open-ended. What are auctions?+ Auctions allow your Warrior of Light to line your coin purse with a little extra gil in exchange for offering a variety of services. The Veil runs 80/20 split auctions, which means you will receive 80% of the sale price and the house will receive a 20% cut.How it works+ If you're interested in participating, please speak to our Host or Auctioneer to add your name to our list. Auctions start at 12 am EST.+ Once your name is called, you will take centerstage and share what you are offering in /yell chat. Please have your spiel prepared before hand in the interest of time.+ The house will then open up with a standard bid, after which anyone can add their own bid to the auction by stating their price in /yell chat.+ Once you have been sold, you and your buyer will exchange gil with one of our employees.What should I say?+ Start by introducing yourself!+ You can offer any services you feel comfortable sharing. Some popular options are Gposing services, crafting services, running content, RP and/or ERP, and digital art, but you're not limited to just those alone if you have more to share. To get the best results, be sure to include some links to your gpose or art that showcase your work!+ Check out this example:

Minimum bet is 100k per hand | Maximum bet is 1m per hand
The goal is to try and get to as close to 21 as possible without going over (busting).
Players may choose to hit (draw another card) or stay (keep current total).
Doubling-down requires the player to double their current bet. The player will then have one more card added to their hand and their turn is over.
Alternatively if the first two cards are identical the player may also choose to split. Splitting also requires the player to double their current bet. After splitting, the player will then play two separate hands as normal. (The house is not given the option to split.)
A roll value of 1 is considered an Ace. Aces are valued as either 11 or 1 (if 11 would put the total above 21).
Rolls of 11-13 count as a face cards (J/Q/K) and therefore count as 10.
Being dealt an Ace along with a ten (or a face card) as the first two cards is considered Blackjack. Players who are dealt a Blackjack automatically win. If the house is dealt a Blackjack it is an automatic loss for all remaining players.
In the result of a tie, it is considered a push and the player retains their active bet.
Bets are taken first. When the game begins, the house will draw their first card before dealing cards to the rest of the table. Players shall choose to hit or stay accordingly, then the house will finish their hand. WINNINGS ARE PAID OUT WHEN YOU ARE DONE PLAYING.
A betting dice game of chance!
for 3-6 players including the Banker
Aim of the game:
Win gil by rolling another person’s pair (split pot) or rolling a 3-of-a-kind (full pot).
How to play:
The Banker rolls a /dice to determine the chip amount for the current match. (i.e. 479 = 479k, 999 = 999k, 0 = 1m, etc). If the chip amount is too high for you, please say 'SIT OUT'. The game needs at least 3 players (including the Banker) for a match.
The Banker then opens trade with each player to take this chip amount after which the Banker will announce the current pot.
Play starts with the player to the left of the Banker. When the Banker prompts you, roll /dice 6 three times. If you get a pair, the Banker will mark you with that number. Play moves clockwise. If a player rolls someone else’s pair, those two players split the pot. If a player rolls a 3-of-a-kind they win the full pot.
If a round passes where no one wins the pot, everyone has to chip in again–the Banker will open another trade with each player. Once all bets are in, the Banker will announce the new pot and play will start again to the left.
Extra rules:
If a player cannot meet the chip in amount during any round, they are kicked from the table and forfeit whatever they currently have in the pot. Essentially, do not play unless you have the gil to play. Matches are pretty fast and don’t often go for multiple rounds, but in the event they do all players must be able to pay the chip in amount each time. We do not bank or float.
The Banker automatically starts with the 6 marker. If a player rolls a pair of 6s they share the pot with the house.
If the Banker rolls your pair, they bust your marker thus removing it.
If the Banker rolls a 3-of-a-kind, the house wins the full pot.
If a player already has a pair marker and rolls a different pair that no one else has, the Banker will give them the chance to stay on their current marker or update their marker to the new pair number. A player can only have one marker at any time and these are cleared after each match.
